IT Systems Administrator

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an IT Systems Administrator with a serious attitude, a sense of responsibility, a willingness to learn new things and a passion for IT and new technologies to join our IT department.

You will be part of a team that is at the heart of our organisation and as such, you will be responsible for providing outstanding support of IT systems and networking infrastructure for the team.  You will be handling a multitude of operational tasks such as installing applications and software, maintain end user IT equipment, troubleshooting and resolving issues, automating solutions foe the team and documentation.

Job Description:

  • Managing Linux servers, infrastructure technologies and databases
  • Installing and configuring production technologies
  • Ensuring the reliable and secure operation of our applications
  • Providing 2nd level support to resolve incidents and problems with our systems
  • Developing our infrastructure with new technologies
  • Perform additional duties and assignments as required in support of internal IT systems.

  • Virtualization technologies (KVM, Proxmox)


  • An academic qualification in IT would be an asset
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Linux administration experience
  • Ability to read and understand logs in general
  • Ability to write scripts in BASH
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
  • Communication and teamwork skills, responsibility, systematic, consistent and proactive approach
  • Interest in the tasks assigned and constructive optimization of existing solutions
  • Willingness to learn and expand one’s knowledge
  • Knowledge of English language at a communicative level


  • LAN administration experience, knowledge of TCP/IP and general overview of network technologies (firewall principles, routing, etc.)
  • Experience with Ansible automation tool
  • Administration of highly available environments
  • Knowledge of Perl, Python, PowerShell programming language
